博士前期課程 Doctor’s Course チーチーター KYI KYI THAR

An amazing studying Experience and plenty of scholarships here

My name is KYI KYI THAR. I am from Myanmar and currently first year Ph.D. student with a main research area of Economic theory and policy at the Okayama University. I came to Japan 4 years ago, as a research student at the Okayama University. Back in that time, there are a wide range of scholarship opportunities available to international student that supported me a lot financially and mentally and gave me a lot of strength as a newcomer. I joined to Pre-master course for 1 years and master course for 2 years at the university. My first impression of the university campus is beautiful, with peace atmosphere, students come from of various culture and ample facilities. So far, I enjoyed the life as a student here because university faculty members have all been enthusiastic, dedicated, and considerate. The rich daily school schedule makes me realized the difficulties involving in research as well as the exciting feeling when obtaining a satisfactory result and making new discoveries.

Apart from the study Life

Apart from the study life, there are many extracurricular activities which enriched my spare time including part time jobs, volunteer activities and circles. I have experienced working as academic advisor of High school students and it was a great challenge for me, as well, being a part time worker in recycling shop also enriched my social experience and broaden my vision which finally leads to the great improvement of my Japanese.

私は営業の仕事をしてますが、これまで現場の事しか考えておらず非常に視野が狭くなっておりました。今後のキャリアを考えた時マーケティング論や人的資源管理など、広い知識を身につけた上で仕事ができるようになりたいと思い大学院へ進学しました。岡山大学では、同じ授業料で経営学以外にも他学部の講義や企業が開催するウェビナーに参加することも可能なので、日々多くのことを学べ楽しく過ごせます。
