{"id":609,"date":"2019-03-31T04:20:22","date_gmt":"2019-03-30T19:20:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/naigai-web.jp\/works\/okadai-hass-en\/?page_id=609"},"modified":"2021-05-06T03:32:05","modified_gmt":"2021-05-05T18:32:05","slug":"history","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/shabun.ccsv.okayama-u.ac.jp\/english\/about_us\/history\/","title":{"rendered":"History"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Okayama University is a comparatively young Graduate School organization, with its origins in three Graduate Schools established in 1971 and 1977: the Graduate School of Literature (Master\u2019s Program), the Graduate School of Law (Master\u2019s Program), and the Graduate School of Economics (Master\u2019s Program).<\/p>\n<p>The origins of Okayama University itself, however, can be traced back to Okayama-han Medical University, which was established by the Ikeda Clan in 1870, and its successor, Okayama Medical University, and to the No. 6 High School established in 1900. This long and unbroken tradition is carried on to the Graduate School of Humanities and Social Sciences.
